Software Application Support Engineer As a Software Application Technical Support Engineer you will establish an area of expertise with guidance from management in which you will work toward becoming a subject matter expert on a particular product or area of knowledge. In doing so you will: Provide Technical Assistance support Update CRM and own and work customer Incident Reports to conclusion effectively accurately and in a timely manner. Have the ability to work independently and also as a collaborative team member Communicate effectively, clearly and concisely (both written and verbal) with management /customer(s)/Vendors and peers. Build and maintain skills on current and legacy platform and applicable technologies as well as identifying, engaging and training for needs of future platform/releases/applicable technologies. Lead in escalating 3rd party vendor field problems. Perform other duties as may be required to insure success of the support team and customers. Travel as needed to customer sites for purpose of onsite support or resident engineer types of activities.
Jack of many development languages: C++, Java, Python, master in some. Experience with full development life cycle for large-scale software products including extensive experience with service oriented architectures, design patterns, web services, and web applications/services development. Preferred Qualifications Theory and practice of Design of Experiments and statistical analysis of results. Experience using operations research techniques for solution optimization and continuous process improvement Hands-on experience in predictive modeling and analysis Leadership experience in a team research effort, including planning, mentoring, and ownership of group outcomes.

Experience building large platform systems.
Work a variety of shift patterns and/or weekends on occasion and if required in order to accommodate customer maintenance windows and customer schedules.
