The ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office, is required. The incumbent must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and days on a rotating basis, and be on-call, as required. The incumbent will be required to work shifts with minimal supervision. Overtime may be required. Typical Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands: This position requires the ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally stands, walks, climbs, bends, and kneels; and requires manual dexterity skills for frequent use of keyboard/computer. The incumbent must be able to hear alarms; have good vision to observe activities on closed circuit television monitors; and have good color vision to observe color weather radar and color indicators on security systems. This position must be able to make decisions quickly, follow procedures, relay vital information, and coordinate resources.

About the Positions The County of Sonoma Department of Health Services (DHS) is seeking licensed professionals to work in the Behavioral Health Division's Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). LVNs assigned to the CSU are responsible for administering scheduled and emergency medications under the direction of a psychiatrist, and monitoring patients for side effects and responses, including vital signs and behaviors.
The incumbent performs start-ups and shut-downs, emissions monitoring and monitors alarms and irregularities for the distributed generation sites. The incumbent is responsible to identify and resolve operating issues where possible, and if unable, notifies proper personnel. This position responds promptly and accurately to energy reserve emergencies. This position is knowledgeable of and will comply with all applicable North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) standards and practices. This position is identified as a Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) related position which may involve physical and/or logical access to Bulk Electric System (BES) cyber related assets or systems. Qualifications: To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have knowledge of basic business practices and gas power generation plant operations at a level acquired through the completion of an AAS degree in Process Plant or Power Plant Technology, or a related field; or a high school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSED) and two years of related gas power plant operations or wind generation experience.
