So, I went to my sister's college and joined her and her friends on Hallo-week (you know, a week of partying). I won't go into any detail at all of what happened, because it haunts me to even think about. But the night before Halloween, I was taken to a motel and raped. This was a HUGE set back for my health. The stress it put on my body, was horrifying. I basically spiraled downward, fast. Any progress I had made over the months previous, went down the drain. I was pessimistic, horrified and unsure of what to do next. I had contemplated going abroad on a GAP semester for awhile, and mutually it was decided that it would benefit me both physically and mentally. I needed to get away, and actually have a purpose. So, I booked my flights to be away for 3 months in Fiji, New Zealand and Australia doing service work. I was beyond excited and started working on my body to get more fit for the physical elements of my trip. When the time came to leave, I was at an ultimate high, feeling great, looking great.
